Tá clár nua ag an gComharchumann dírithe ar Chlár Iarfheistithe Fuinnimh.
Beimid ag déanamh measúnú ar 8-10 dteach sa cheantar, mar eiseamláir do dhaoine eile. Beidh cur síos ar an bpróiseas go léir, na deontais atá ar fáil agus na céimeanna chun iad a fháil, comhairle neamhspléach, srl.. Más maith leat bheith páirteach, agus measúnú déanta ar do theach saor in aisce, nó bheith ar an eolas ar an dul chun cinn, is féidir suim a léirigh ar an bhfoirm thíos nó glaoch/teasc a chur ar CFM, Caroline 083 1915432 Beidh seoladh againn an 3 Márta 2021 at 7.30pm
| The Comharchumann has started a Retrofit project as most of us wonder what we can do to improve the energy efficiency of our houses at some stage in our life. We have independent technical advisors and have a report done on the general state of the houses in the area. (link below). We would like to have a One-stop Shop and/or hotline in Gaelacht Mhúscraí. We see the biggest problems people face are the lack of good information to help decide what makes the best sense for your house and the lack of funding packages to help pay for the work. There are grants but they are not enough.
The plan is to take 8-10 houses and carry out an assessment as demonstration projects. The whole process will be set out, step by step, on what grants are avaible and how to apply for them, what advice is available, and the sharing local knowledge. If you would like your house to be considered for a free assessment or would just like to be kept updated, please complete the form below call/text Caroline ón 083 1915432. We will launch the project ón 3 March 2021 at 7.30pm |

Le tionscnamh um choigilt fuinnimh a chur chun cinn i nGaeltacht Mhúscraí tá an Comharchumann tar éis 10 mbuaiteoir a roghnú agus iad ar fad a mbronnadh le bolgán LED ar luach 150euro.
10 lucky winners in Gaeltacht Mhúscraí have each won LED bulbs worth €150 to replace their existing bulbs in their house or business.
Comharchumann Forbartha Mhúscraí supported this campaign to raise awareness of the impact of changing your light bulbs to LED bulbs. They asked the local Co-operative Superstore in Ballymackeera to get involved and Eileen Kellagher, Store Manager, was on board from the beginning.
“It makes sense. We know that the bulbs are dearer to buy but when you consider how long they last and the time and bother you save in not having to change these bulbs for years, it pays off. I’m also saying this to farmers with lights high up in their sheds.”
Tuigeann daoine áitiúil go bhfuil ciall leis an athrú a dhéanamh ach gur chuir costas níos airde na mbolgán drogall orthu.
“The higher cost of the bulb did does put you off making the change” “I have been trying to change over as I go along”, “ba mhaith linn go mbeidh billí leictreachtais níos ísle againn”.
Tá an cosúlacht ann go gcruthóidh an togra amháin seo, le 100 bolgán sabháil nó coiligt 5,100kWh fuinneamh, 4.6 tonna CO2 agus 700E sa bhliain i nGaeltacht Mhúscraí. The calculations are that this one project, with 100 bulbs will save 5,100 kWh of energy, 4.6 tonne of CO2 and €700 per year in Gaeltacht Mhúscraí.
